Sconset 8.2 miles via Milestone Road
Very Scenic bikepath with rolling hills, views of Cranberry bogs ending in our Lovely eastern end named Siasconset, or Sconset for short.
Almost 19 miles if you ride the whole loop.
- Leaving Young's go up Broad Street towards town.
- Take Third Left onto federal Street.
- Take 1st right onto Chestnut Street.
- At end of Street, turn left and immediately right onto Hussey Street.
- At Stop Sign, Continue to the left up gardner Street.
- At Stop Sign, You will be facing the Civil War Monument. Turn Left onto Main Street.
- Take your First Right onto Pleasant Street.
- At Stop Sign go Straight ahead towards left onto Pleasant Street.
- Turn Left onto West Creek Road.
- At Stop Sign, turn right onto Orange Street.
- Follow Orange Street to Rotary.
- At rotary go left and get on the bike path.
- You have two ways to get to Sconset:
- You can Follow this path all the way to Sconset.
- OR you can take the Polpis Bike path around the North East and then wrap around to Sconset.
- if you take the Milestone path, follow it all the way into the village. The road becomes main street and ends at the Sconset Rotary. There are a couple Seasonal restaurants at the rotary.
- Loop around rotary and come out far side(towards left) and you will see the 'Sconset Market on your right. This is a great place to stop during the summer for water and a snack.

Connecting to Polpis Road from Sconset
- Get to the Sconset Rotary
- Head towards the Sconset Market
- Once past the market, turn left on either Shell Street or Broadway.
- The roads will merge and will become Sankaty Road
Sankaty Lighthouse side tour
- You will see roads turns off towards the right, these roads(Butterfly, Rosaly, Emily, ...)end at Baxter Road.
- turn left on Baxter and take it all the way to the end.
- Take a quick look at the lighthouse!
We like to go out Milestone and come home via the Polpis bike path. Another fun stop is the Life Saving Museum on the Polpis Bike path
